Fatima Z- Manager/TeacherAssalamualikum my name is Fatima, I migrated from New Zealand in 2006, became a Canadian citizen and I am a Bangladeshi by birth. My passions for working with children and education were formed at a very young age, which is why I made the decision to become an Early Childhood Educator.
In the last 7 years of being an Early Childhood Educator, I have been extremely fortunate to work in several very diverse programs. My positive experiences as an ECE led me to continue my educational path in 2008, to work towards completing a degree in Early Childhood Education. This choice has allowed me to further my knowledge in Infant and Toddler Development, as well as refresh and deepen my knowledge and understanding of Early Childhood Education. Beside ECE, I have obtained my master degree in Islamic History and culture, also a diploma in computer programming.
Apart from being an educator, I am a mother to three wonderful children and have been married for over 20 years to a loving husband who is a ship captain. Traveling is my passion and I love walking, reading, cooking international dishes, gardening and spending time with my children. Being the wife of a marine officer, I have had chances to travel all over the world and know the diverse culture of various countries. As a preschool manger of Sprouts of Iman, I am looking forward to know all the families and children of the centre. I hope all the parents and staff will be a team together creating a loving, caring and nurturing environment for the young children. I believe every child should be given the opportunity to explore, discover and learn about the world around them in a safe, caring environment.
May ALLAH bless you and your families.
